Lobbying
As a participant in a regulated industry, Legal & General is highly susceptible to the risks and challenges posed by changes in policy, regulation or tax We also see the opportunity to provide leadership on broader societal and policy issues which are of potentially high relevance to Legal & General. These include changes to pension policy, and issues arising from greater longevity and healthcare demands.
In 2009 we responded to over 40 Government and FSA Papers on relevant regulatory and policy issues L&G should be the first name to occur to policy-makers looking for an informed view of policy aspects of pension, savings, protection and investment markets.
